Buckets of Fun

The Buckets of Fun promotion featured a colourful set of four themed buckets, each decorated with McDonaldland characters. A similar promotion had been released in the USA a few years earlier, making this the UK’s take on a proven and popular idea as these buckets had slightly different illustrations from the US variants.

Each bucket was made from hard plastic and came with a matching coloured lid, handle, and spade, giving each one its own distinct theme: Fun Fair (red), Garden (green), Picnic (yellow), and Beach (blue). Available to purchase with any meal, one bucket was released each week, encouraging customers to collect the full set.
