Outdoor Fun - Generic Premiums

The ‘Outdoor Fun’ generic Happy Meal promotion was issued during special clean-up campaigns across the UK. Although four toys were produced, it appears that only two were officially released.

The Glider is a three-piece toy with stickers, assembled by slotting the wings through the main body. Made from semi-hard plastic, it was designed for simple outdoor flying fun.

The Bubble Ring Holder is a two-part plastic toy. A soapy solution is placed in the dish, allowing the ring to be dipped and used to create bubbles—an easy and interactive outdoor activity.

Two additional toys were planned as part of this set, according to the insert sheet, but were never widely released in the UK, making them particularly elusive and of interest to collectors.
These were a green skipping rope with blue handles, and a set of crayons to colour in mini kites containing the McDonald’s logo. All four items were issued in Germany during 1992.
