Dragonettes

The Dragonettes Happy Meal promotion was released to coincide with celebrations for the Chinese New Year, alongside a McDonald’s food campaign called Tastes of the Orient, which featured a different Chinese-inspired dish each week.

Each toy is a semi-hard plastic dragon character holding a different object, giving every figure its own distinct appearance and personality. Released as part of a wider seasonal campaign, the Dragonettes stand out as one of the more unusual and culturally themed Happy Meal sets of the early 1990s.
