Batman: The Animated Series

The Batman: The Animated Series promotion was released to coincide with the UK launch of the acclaimed animated adaptation of DC Comics superhero.

This promotion had previously been released in the USA a few months earlier with four additional toys.

The set featured a mixture of character figures and action vehicles, each with its own play feature. Batman and Catwoman are semi-hard plastic figures with movable limbs, while Catwoman also includes a hard plastic yellow panther companion. The Joker’s car includes an extending feature that lengthens the vehicle when the seat is pressed, and the Robin Cycle is a pull-back action toy designed for racing play.
