Two battery-operated LCD watches were on offer at McDonald’s restaurants.

Each one is made from a soft plastic (except the buckle) and measures 7½ inches long with a picture of Ronald on the face.

Both watches cost £2.40 each. £1 was donated to the Ronald McDonald house at Guy’s Hospital, London.

There are three functions to each watch: time, date and seconds.
