The Rescuers Down Under Happy Meal promotion was released to coincide with the release of the movie, the sequel to The Rescuers, which arrived in UK cinemas in October 1991, a year after it’s original USA release. Based on the popular Walt Disney animated adventure, the set brought its characters into a fun, collectible format.

Each figure was made from solid rubber with a slight flexibility, giving them a soft, durable feel compared to more rigid plastic toys.
