The Happy Meal Band promotion featured a set of McDonaldland characters reimagined as musical performers. Each figure was made from hard plastic and included a wind-up action feature that brought the characters to life.

Ronald sways from side to side while lifting his guitar up and down, Hamburglar plays the drums as his hat bounces, Birdie rocks from side to side with her mouth moving, and Grimace moves forward while his saxophone lifts up and down towards his mouth.

Bright, animated, and full of personality, the Happy Meal Band captured the playful musical style common in many early 1990s Happy Meal promotions.
