Twisting Sports

The Twisting Sports promotion featured McDonaldland characters in a series of fitness and sports-themed toys. The figures were made from hard plastic, with the exception of the soft rubber surface on Ronald’s trampoline.

Each toy included a turning handle on the back of its platform, activating a unique movement feature. Even more impressively, all of the toys could be linked together, allowing a single handle to operate the entire set at once.

Ronald bounces up and down on his trampoline while waving his arms, Birdie swings her tennis racket as her head turns from side to side, Hamburglar lifts his dumbbells up and down, and Grimace moves his arms while the football balanced on his head spins around.
