Winter Sports

The Winter Sports promotion featured Ronald McDonald and his McDonaldland friends taking part in a variety of winter sporting activities. The set was released to coincide with the 1994 Winter Olympics, bringing a seasonal sporting theme to the Happy Meal range.

Each toy is made from hard plastic and includes its own interactive action feature. Ronald and Grimace are wind-up toys; Ronald moves forward while rocking from side to side, while Grimace pushes his snow plough along with a gentle side-to-side motion.

Birdie is a two-piece toy supplied with a black pull-through launcher that sends her spinning across the floor. Hamburglar rides in a pull-back-and-go vehicle, towing a snow trailer attached by a length of string.
