World Cup USA 94

The World Cup ’94 promotion was released to celebrate the start of the 1994 FIFA World Cup, which was hosted across nine cities in the United States.

Unlike a traditional character-based toy set, this promotion featured a range of football-themed items designed to help fans join in with the excitement of the tournament. The noise rattle is made from hard plastic and features two hinged flaps that create a loud clattering sound when waved. The drinks bottle, also made from hard plastic, was supplied with a reusable plastic straw.

The wristband is made from a nylon-style outer material with a soft flannel lining and fastens using Velcro. The inflatable football is produced from soft plastic and measures approximately 18 cm in diameter when fully inflated.
